Sandbar Boat Cruise in Jupiter, Florida
There is a place in Jupiter that only happens a few hours a day in the bluest water you’ve ever seen that is just magical. It’s a place we affectionately call “Church”.
It’s called church because there is a large Catholic church on land that overlooks the sandbar, and you can see the spire of the church while you are there enjoying all of the beauty that God created for us to enjoy.
Very close to Alan Jackson’s first home and office, the Jupiter Sandbar is always a fun trip if the tides are right since we would prefer a low tide during the middle of the day for the optimal blue water.
While the sandbar is there all of the time, it’s only really accessible at low tide. At higher tides, it’s not as much fun since you would almost have to be in waist deep water at the highest spot on the sandbar.
Other options in this area include the banks below the Jupiter Lighthouse (Honu Mako only); and another area sandbar that is about a mile North of the Jupiter Sandbar this is a great place to stop, swim and have a BBQ. It’s also a great place to launch the drone for some aerial photos and video.
No matter what trip you choose on the Honu Boat Charters, you are going to have a great time because you are in charge! Unlike many other tour operators in the area, we don’t have a set course or destination. We plan our trips based on your requirements.
Don’t worry, we know all of the fun parts of all of our trips and will guide you towards the most fun options available for the time you book.
