Spreading Ashes Memorial Boat Cruise
It’s never easy saying goodbye to a loved one; however, a memorial scattering of the ashes somehow helps bring everything into perspective. There is something beautiful about this ceremony and we would be honored to help you accomplish this service with dignity and respect.
Having performed many memorial spreading of the ashes at sea, Captain Dave Subers, once ordained as a Eucharistic Minister in the Catholic church, will prepare readings that fit your particular needs and honor your loved one.
The laying of the wreath ceremony can be performed on the River, out at sea, or your loved ones favorite spot.
Captain Dave will prepare a service that you and your family will remember for a lifetime.
Set with the right music and readings, a wreath of flowers will be laid at sea along with your loved ones ashes. As the currents sweep the flowers away, there is a peacefulness to this act that cannot be explained.
While always emotional (even for the Captain and crew), it never fails that this ceremony produces some sign that your loved one is with us. Whether it’s a particular flower that parts from the group, a ray of sunshine or a lone bird circling, this is definitely a beautiful way to lay your loved one to rest.
If you have a larger group, we can provide the Honu Mako to ensure everyone can attend.
After the ceremony, many opt for a small Celebration of Life party while we enjoy the beautiful surroundings that our area provides. We can cater to any option you require on the boat or provide transportation to a waterfront facility.
With easy access to the Port Salerno Waterfront and Downtown Stuart, we can pickup and drop off at either location if you would like to arrange a luncheon afterwards at Twisted Tuna, Manatee Island, Pirates Cove, Sailors Return or one of the many restaurants in Downtown Stuart.
